What is Web Accessibility?

Web accessibility means designing and building websites, online tools, and digital content in a way that allows everyone, including people with disabilities, to use and understand them easily. This includes making sure people with physical, visual, hearing, speech, cognitive, or neurological disabilities can successfully navigate and interact with online content without barriers. Unfortunately, many websites still are not fully accessible to all users.

Accessible websites also help people without diagnosed disabilities, such as older adults who may experience vision or other age-related challenges.
