2026-2027 School Supply Update

Avoyelles Parish Schools will purchase initial school supplies for students in Pre-K through 6th grade for the 2026-2027 school year. Families may still need to provide personal items such as backpacks, headphones, water bottles, uniforms, or other school-specific items.

Good News for APS Families

APS will purchase initial school supplies for students in Pre-K through 6th grade. Parents of students in grades 7-12 remain responsible for purchasing school supplies as approved by each school principal.

Pre-K through 6th Grade

Initial school supplies will be purchased by Avoyelles Parish Schools.

Grades 7 through 12

Student supplies are purchased by families and may not exceed $30 per student.

Technology Fees

Chromebook replacement, repair, or charger fees may apply if items are lost or damaged.

Pre-K through 6th Grade Fees & Supplies

Avoyelles Parish Schools will purchase initial school supplies for students in Pre-K through 6th grade. Elementary families may still be responsible for student fees, replacement IDs, and personal items requested by the school.

Grades 7 through 12 Fees & Supplies

For grades 7 through 12, initial school supplies are purchased by parents based on lists approved by the school principal. Supplies are due at the beginning of the school year.

Initial School Supplies for Students Student materials such as binders, paper, notebooks, pens, pencils, markers, calculators, folders, and similar items. Lists are approved by the school principal. Purchased by parents. Supplies are due at the beginning of the school year. Cost of supplies not to exceed $30 per student
Student Replacement ID Replacement of ID if the student ID is lost or damaged. Collected if a replacement ID is needed before the student receives a new ID. $5
Graduation Fee Diploma cover, awards, and graduation event costs. Collected in the first semester of the graduating year. $15
Parking Fee, optional Parking tag required if a student drives or parks in the parking lot. Evidence of current vehicle registration and vehicle insurance is required. Collected before the student begins driving and parking on campus. $10

Chromebook replacement and repair fees may apply when devices, parts, or chargers are lost or damaged.
