What is Child Search?

Child Search is part of the Avoyelles Parish School District’s attempt to identify, locate, and evaluate children who may be in need of special education services and are not currently enrolled in school.

Who May be Referred?

Any individual, age 3 through 21, who is not enrolled in public school may be referred for an evaluation if he or she appears to need special services to receive a proper education.
