We would like to, once again, thank Mrs. Kristy Lachney, Mrs. brenda Wilmer, and her staff at the APAC office in Marksville for the wonderful school supplies purchased for the students and faculty at the Avoyelles Virtual Alternative Porgram in Hessmer. The APAC office is a non-proft agency that offers energy assistance to those who are eligible to help pay electric and gas utility bills. They serve the Avoyelles Parish and Pointe Coupee Parish areas for the Utility Energy Assistance. They also offer monthly distribution of commodities (food boxes) to the elderly, disabled, or low income families who qualify in Avoyelles parish only.
