APSD now accepting applications for its Virtual Program

APSB recognizes that not all students are successful in a virtual instruction setting. Therefore, students must apply and be accepted to the virtual program including students currently enrolled in the virtual program.

To be considered by the home school principal for the virtual program in the 2022-2023 school year, guardians must apply in person at the student’s home school within the registration dates. Principals MAY consider APSB students for approval if the student has performed well in school in the previous year (as indicated by grades, attendance, standardized test scores, reading scores). Virtual students will be required to be available for virtual live instruction daily during school hours and assignments will be due daily during the class period. K-5 Virtual students must have a learning coach available at home to assist them in instruction. Attendance will be taken at the beginning and the end of each class period and is mandatory.

******Please note that students will be removed from virtual if they are not performing well at the end of any nine weeks and returned to in person instruction at their zoned school.

If interested, please report to your child’s home school during the registration dates.
