Math

This week in math we are reviewing skills that may be seen on the LEAP test.  We will do activities LEAP practice books and cover skills as we go.

Reading

This week in reading, we are concentrating on LEAP skills. We are reading and responding to stories, proofreading passages, and completing exercises on information resources.

Writing and Spelling

We are completing writing a little differently this week.  The students will be given a topic and will complete the 4-square, rough draft, revision, editing and final draft all in the same day. This is the way they will be required to complete their writing on LEAP.  Spelling is included with writing this week. There are no spelling words.

Social Studies

We are working on map skills and getting information from different types of maps. These types of questions will be seen on LEAP.
