Registration/Orientation for day classes in Marksville is held every Friday beginning at 8:30 and continues on Mondays at 8:30. Classes are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 8-12.
A nine week day session will be held at the Technical College in Cottonport on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8-12 beginning January 5th.
A nine week night session will be held at Riverside Elementary School in Simmesport on Monday and Wednesday nights beginning January 5th and at Bunkie Elementary School on Tuesday and Wednesday nights beginning January 6th. All night classes are from 5-8pm.
The next HiSET Exam is scheduled for January 21st followed by March 25th at the Media Center located on Fair St. in Marksville.
* Students must be 18 to enroll in Adult Education classes. All 16 and 17 year olds must contact Mrs. Debbie Bain, Supervisor of Child Welfare, at the School Board Office for age waiver qualifications. All students who completed the Youth Challenge Program but did not receive a high school equivalency diploma are eligible to enroll and homeschooled students who have completed their home school study program. Requirements:Students must be 18 or older to enroll. All 16 and 17 year old students must contact Mrs. Debbie Bain, Supervisor of Child Welfare, for eligibility rules on receiving an age waiver to attend Adult Education (not every 16 and 17 year old is issued an age waiver to attend. This is based on eligibility.) Students who have completed YCP and did not receive the HiSET diploma are eligible to enroll. Also, students who have completed home school study with proof of completion are eligible to enroll in classes.
